Encaustics

Encaustics is a process of painting with pigmented bees wax. This two day encaustic workshop for all levels.   We will explore use of collage, stencil, drawings and transfers and Including the use dry pigments and different inks. We will also work with texture using different tools, surfaces and color. Students encouraged to bring various papers, textiles, images and string, and a willingness to experiment. A $10 materials fee will be paid directly to the instructor the first day of class.
